Soft tissue pain therapy is a unique non-surgical treatment that combines therapeutic deep tissue massage and active isolated strecthcing techniques to re-educate muscles and provide relief from accute and chronic soft tissue pain.
With soft tissue pain therapy the client is placed in particular positions so that the muscle begins to stretch in a very specific direction of plane. Then pressure is applied directly into the focal point of the affected tissue. The combination of a very specific extension, precise pinpoint compression and an exact plane of movement while working with the breath can produce an immediate muscle release. Scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened, muscle memory is restored and relief from pain begins immediately.
Although new to our staff Center we already are receiving some glowing comments on his work with the patients. Also Doctor Kellas is using his service whenever he can fit it into his schedule as he has indicated he is one of the best massage therapists he has come across in years
