I came to the Center for Advanced Medicine as a last resort. I didn't believe they could help me, but since no one else had been able to, I gave it a shot. Dr. Nelson and Dr. LaBeau were able to determine the root cause of my ailments during my first visit, and in just two months, my symptoms are almost non-existent. I have my life back, I'm exercising daily, have energy to spare and am sleeping at night.
For the past five years, I had debilitating itching (needles and pins) sensations in my shoulders at night, and severe nose bleeds. Itching usually began in the late afternoon and would worsen at night, nose bleeds would occur at any time and were so out of control last year that I developed severe anemia.
These symptoms generally began in the fall, and although they never truly disappeared, they did seem to go away in the spring. Over-the-counter creams and antihistamines were useless. I underwent acupuncture last year, but my therapist’s concern was that we did not know the root cause of my ailments. I never determined what brought on these symptoms and could not find anything to relieve them.
Over the years, I consulted every specialist that I could think of, to no avail. The diagnosis was dermatitis of unknown origin and neuropathy. Cortisone creams seemed to aggravate the symptoms and my arms were blistered from scratching. Some blisters were so puffy and red that they looked infected. The symptoms were so bad at night that I became sleep deprived and was sapped of energy. I refused to take Neurontin or antidepressants, I was not depressed, I was itchy and in pain.
I'm certainly looking at food and my environment differently now. This has been a growing experience for me and I'm relieved that my ailments are just about a thing of the past.

Dear Drs. Drucker, Kellas, Folgelman and Nelson:
I was referred to your clinic almost one year ago. Since that time, I have been able to accomplish some pretty amazing things and I want to thank you with all my heart for your part in that.
When you saw me a year ago, I was suffering with almost constant migraine headaches, severe depression and really bad tendonitis in my right elbow and was taking four different prescription drugs. I was trying to train for my black belt test, but really couldn’t train like I needed to due to my poor health.
I started working toward my black belt 14 years ago in 1990. Many things along the way side-tracked me, but I had kept plugging away with dogged determination. To tell you the truth, before I started seeing you guys, I had pretty much accepted that I was getting too old and my body wasn’t going to ever be able to handle the intense level of training necessary for that goal. I had given up, more or less, on that dream.
It is with much excitement and enthusiasm that I am writing to tell you that I tested Saturday night in front of Shihan Sensei Lou Casamassa and was awarded my first class black belt by the American Karate Kung-Fu Federation, an internationally recognized certification body for the martial arts!
The complete care I have received from you has addressed my migraines, depression, the tendonitis, various food allergies, parasites and fungal overgrowth, as well as structural problems. I have installed a whole house water filtration system in my home, changed my dietary habits, dropped another 10 pounds and am medication-free. I have NEVER felt more physically fit, nutritionally balanced and spiritually strong.

Our 16 year old daughter, Melody, had been suffering from migraines since she was in 1st grade. Our 12 year old son, Jonathan, also suffered from migraines, but not as severe. In addition, he also had asthma. Both of our children were overweight. As responsible parents, we took our children to the doctor for help.
Our daughter saw five different neurologists in six years to try to get her migraines under control. Instead of getting better, her migraines got worse—more intense and many more—until finally in September of 2002, the pain medication no longer worked to take the pain away. The neurologist insisted that she be put on a prophylactic that she had tried before (an anti-depressant that previously failed in treating her migraines, and left her with severe side effects). She was reluctant to take the medication again. We then tried several other prophylactics with miserable results. We attempted several of the triptans again, to no avail. The pain became more intense and the migraines lasted longer and longer. Even the trips to the emergency room for Demerol shots only put the pain “in the background.” Nothing was working to take the pain away. The last neurologist we took her to said he could do nothing more for her. We didn’t know what to do except pray that the Lord would do something to help her.
We were looking for answers. A friend from church suggested we try acupuncture as an alternative to medication. Not willing to trust eastern medication, we were hesitant. This just didn’t seem to be the answer. I changed our diet. Perhaps a “high protein diet” would help. Of course, we had already eliminated certain foods (especially those with nitrates) upon the advice of one neurologist who was certain Melody’s migraines might be caused by allergies to food. But the new diet didn’t curtail the migraines.
Then, in the spring of 2003, a friend of ours, who lives in North San Diego County, called and recommended CAM. She’d gone to CAM years ago for severe migraines and hadn’t had a migraine for 10 years. She was certain Dr. Kellas could help, I was extremely skeptical. Besides, CAM was so far away. Wasn’t there a place closer to home that could help? And what about the cost? I knew my insurance would cover some of the cost, but not all of it. I was warned it would be expensive. But, our friend was so positive and hopeful, and we were desperate.
So, despite this place that sounded too good to be true, I made an appointment for Melody. In our first meeting with Dr. Drucker, he suggested Melody’s migraines were caused by allergies, and specifically an allergy to sugar. What? I had already tried to find out what the food allergies were by eliminating things from her diet. It was a tedious process, and I was not really willing to go that route again. How could he make such a determination in just a few minutes? Then he calmly explained CAM had an easier way to find out what her food allergies were. Though still skeptical, I was fascinated and curious to see if he was right.
A plan was laid out which included non-invasive allergy testing, a detox program and a severe diet adjustment accompanied by diet supplements. Almost immediately there was an improvement in not only how many headaches Melody was getting, but also in the severity of the headaches. Her outlook became more positive. For the first time since she was eight years old, there was hope. For the first time in 12 months, she got relief from the incredible pain. Words cannot explain our gratitude for CAM. If this were all that she received—relief from the pain—it would have been worth the money. But, the “side effects” (loss of weight and inches, as well as a more positive attitude) were more than we had asked. She is now healthier than she has ever been.
We then had our son, Jonathan, tested for allergies, as well as treated for asthma. It was found that his asthma was probably caused by parasites. Since he’s taken the supplements for parasites, his asthma is virtually gone. He is now eating better. He has only has two migraines since being treated at CAM, both of which were effortlessly relieved with the normal dosage of Advil. And the added bonus of being off the corticosteroids that were causing his weight gain was that he, too, began losing weight! He went from a men’s size 38 waist down to a boys size 18 pants in a matter of months. His weight loss has been dramatic and noticeable. He is very grateful to CAM.
But, there is more! Shortly after we started our children on CAM’s programs, I was exposed to aspergillus’s mold at work. My health deteriorated. I had difficulty breathing and had little or no energy. I felt as if I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. After attempting to go through Workman’s Comp, and being told by my family doctor that there was nothing that could be done for aspergillus, we decided to see if CAM could help. The doctors knew exactly what to do and went right to work. Dr. Drucker said it would take between six months and five years for me to feel better. He was confident that I would feel better! And he was right! It had been seven months since I began treatment for aspergillus. My breathing is almost normal. My energy is back! I feel healthier than I have since I was a child. And, as an extra bonus, I, too, have lost weight and two dress sizes!
Someone recently asked me if the CAM doctors were “specialists,” such as a neurologist or internist. I explained that each of the doctors has their own specialty, but not as we would normally think.
Collectively, the doctors at CAM specialize in treating the whole body, not just a portion of it, so the entire body can work and function as it is intended. This results in a truly healthy body. The scientific knowledge of each of the doctors is impressive. That is why they are able to have success in finding the “root cause” of the illness or ailment.
To say our family is grateful to CAM is an understatement. CAM has literally been an answer to our prayers. The doctors and staff are positive and confident. They do not off false hope. Is CAM costly? Yes. But, even when my husband is tempted to complain about the cost, he considers all the benefits we’ve received. And that is why we’ve recommended CAM to so may of our friends and acquaintances. We gladly and wholeheartedly recommend CAM to anyone seeking real answers for medical problems when traditional doctors are not able to help.

Fifteen years ago, I was diagnosed with systemic lupus. Having been an RN for almost twenty years and schooled in traditional medicine, I had followed my rheumatologist's instructions to the letter. Over the years, I was treated with Prednisone, Plaquernil and a host of other drugs. After fifteen painful years, my condition had deteriorated to the point of using Methotrexate to treat a bad flare. After receiving Methotrexate, my condition spiraled downward, ending in a hospitalization, during which I was additionally diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. I was discharged and was told "there is nothing more we can do". I was so terribly ill and felt as if I had about a month to live.
It was at that time my Internet search led me to Dr. Drucker and Dr. Kellas. I am here to say Dr. Drucker and Dr. Kellas have saved my life and given me back my quality of life. Being an RN made me somewhat skeptical of a different approach to my disease, but I could soon see we were on the right track. You CAN treat the "root cause" of chronic illness.
We have eliminated the things that have caused my lupus inflammatory response; mainly the metal from my dental work and food allergies. I have also eliminated sugar from my diet and I take yeast control supplements. I had two root canals removed, a pocket of infection from a former wisdom tooth extraction cleaned out and my mercury fillings replaced. My improvement was almost immediate.
I kept seeing my regular rheumatologist during the course of my therapy at The Center and told her everything I was doing. She did not discourage me, but did not encourage me either. Three months after starting on Dr. Drucker and Dr. Kellas' program and six weeks after having my dental work done, I went to her for a rheumatology check-up and lab work.
Miracle of miracles, my lupus blood panel came back totally NEGATIVE! It has never been negative in the fifteen years she has been treating me. Her reply, "I am pleased and humbled. Continue whatever you are doing!" I will, I will! My next step is a course of chelation therapy, and I am hoping that soon lupus will just be a closed chapter in the book of my newly regained life. In the words of Winston Churchill, "Never, never, never give up!"

Circulation
In the past I've had some trouble with, it seems circulation in one foot and thumb. since I started taking the Liv Long and the Paragon that Dr. Kellas talks about on his radio show I have more movement in the thumb, and my foot has stopped swelling.
I can't wait to try the Kona Gold, Don't Weight and the Metholate!

Headaches
I have always had headaches all my life, and it has been very debilitating. As a result I have not been able to work because of the pain from being so affected by what was in the environment, namely the colognes and perfumes worn by others.
And every time I would go into a mall or grocery store, I would come out with a terrible headache. So I had to avoid this also. It was just an impossible situation and this had been going on all my life. Even in the home, I could not have people in as guests for fear of exposure to these chemical based products. This really limited my life.
Doctors did not understand my problem. They would give me medications that really messed me up even more. I was treated for allergies and given heavy medications that really messed up my life.
Then I found the Center for Advanced Medicine and got the miracle cure from Dr. Nelson! Several weeks ago I got cleared for perfumes and colognes.
My husband and I decided to test and see that it was really real, by going to the Mall. We went into every perfume department in every store and just went crazy trying all the samples! We wanted to do a real test. And there was absolutely no problem. I just cried right there in the Mall!

Fatigue
My fatigue was such that I nearly crawled into the clinic. After getting the mercury out of my teeth and chelated out of my body, along with colonics and nutritional supplements, I have an enormous increase in energy and can lead a normal life. In August 1996 I had fatigue, fibromyalgia and chemical sensitivities; I felt awful and was depressed. I could hardly eat and was losing too much weight.

Peripheral arteriosclerosis
I had a stroke two and a half years ago and found that I had peripheral arteriosclerosis. The only thing that the medical community could recommend was aspirin.
I had over 40 chelations total, but after 18 chelations I was again able to read - that part of my brain had been damaged by the stroke. I went from being disabled to getting married. I could barely walk, think, eat or sleep
When I started treatments four and a half years ago, I could barely walk, think, eat or sleep.
I had my mercury filling out and did detoxing through DMPS chelation treatments. It was a long struggle but I can walk, I can function. I felt like I was dying and now I have regained my health.

Multiple sclerosis (MS), head pain and neuralgia
I had symptoms since 1977, and was positively diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1992. Doctors said that the disease would worsen over time, and that the only treatment was steroids for symptomatic relief. By January 1995 I had facial paralysis, severe facial pain, and extreme fatigue, couldn't keep my balance, and had a number of other symptoms.
I started at the Center For Advanced Medicine in March 1995, and found that my mercury level was 81 (normal is less than 1, and 81 is higher than that of most dentists.) I had my mercury fillings taken out and had chelation to remove the mercury from my body. I went on the detoxification diet and felt much better within three days, with the numbness and tingling subsiding.
Over several months I had more good days and fewer bad days, By June 1995 I was able to walk around EPCOT Center in Florida - not bad for someone who had barely been able to shop for groceries without leg pain.
My MS tests used to be positive and are now negative. No brain lesions show on the MRI test and my spinal tape is negative. I feel that avoiding sugar and implementing yeast control measures that the Center taught me definitely helped to keep my MS symptoms, specially head pain and neuralgia under control.

Chronic sinusitis, weight gain, headaches
I had chronic sinusitis for 3 years and a yeast problem for 9 years. I saw at least ten doctors for the sinusitis and at least 5 doctors for the yeast, all without relief. I was totally fatigued, and I gained a huge amount of weight in pregnancy.
I have since learned that I have allergies and that I was not processing properly - I didn't eat right and was not absorbing what I ate. Fatigue
Several years ago I just felt worn out, as well as having other problems.

I used to have brain fog, leg pain, fatigue, psoriasis, food cravings, receding gums and disintegrating teeth. I was unable to digest and assimilate foods due to allergy and dental mercury.

Chronic hip problem, nagging cough
Do you feel okay? You can feel even better! I thought I was in pretty good shape until I started following the principals for improvement of my health that are the guidelines for patients at the Center For Advanced Medicine.
I had a chronic hip problem and a nagging cough that I had just learned to live with, but the detox diet and allergy treatments given to me at the clinic got rid of both symptoms.
